How it works

Designed for both iOS and Android ExpertEase is a mobile application that connects experts from around the world with clients, facilitating video consultations and secure payments.

ExpertEase presents a variety of services that experts can offer through video calls in their area of expertise. Whether that’s business consulting, personal development or fitness coaching, there is a category that caters for everyone.

Search functionality allows clients to find experts based on keywords mentioned in the service descriptions. Additional search filters include:

• Languages spoken by the expert
• Hourly rate for the video consultation (currency conversion handled by the app)
• Expert availability (time zone conversion performed by the app)
• Expertise within the selected category
• Average score given by clients who have previously hired the expert

Once a client selects an expert, they can communicate via chat within the app. The client can then choose to start the video call immediately or schedule an appointment for a later date and time.

PROCESS

To initiate a video consultation, the client initiates the request from the expert's page by clicking on the icon at the top right.

After the client enters the number of hours requested, the expert must accept before the payment interface is presented to the client.

Once payment is confirmed, the video call begins for the specified duration. At this point, the expert is virtually with the client and can carry out the agreed-upon task.

At the end of the call, the expert's account is credited with the agreed-upon amount, minus any VAT if applicable.

The expert can request payment at any time following a grace period of 5 working days, during which clients can file complaints.

PAYMENT

Transfers to European experts are free of charge. For bank accounts outside the European SEPA zone, transfer costs are added.

Bank wire costs are borne by the expert, within the available balance of their account.

The client's account is debited at the time of the order.

ExpertEase collects the total amount, which includes the agreed-upon number of hours multiplied by the expert's hourly rate, along with an ExpertEase commission and any credit card fees.
